Firm's activity sphere
The firm "M-CHIP" has been dealing with Research and Development
in communications branch for the last year. The main firmâ's priority
is to create signal processing algorithms for different types of
wireless communications and software, using these algorithms. The
following algorithms of physical layer cellular communications are
in the pipeline of the firm:
· digital modems for different types of modulation (M-PSK, M-QAM,
· digital encoders and decoders (Viterbi, Turbo, BCH, Reed-Solomon,
· different methods of multiple access (OFDM, CDMA, FDMA, TDMA);
· algorithms of channel parameters estimation (frequency, time position,
amplitude and phase);
· interference cancellation methods (multi user detection);
· multiple antenna transmission and reception.
Besides, the firm is highly experienced in the development of higher
layer (MAC level) communications algorithms.
The firm's final product is set of reports to developed algorithms
and a program code, which is realizing these algorithms. Developed
software provides the user with the universal interface, simplifying
the multipurpose algorithms usage.
The important peculiarity of the firm's activity is the application
of the well-known algorithms as well as the development of the new
decisions, possessed of patent purity.
The firm tenders its services in the development of digital processing
signals algorithms and in the software creation, realizing these
algorithms. The firm's activity sphere includes the equipment for
means of communications as well as the others fields of equipment,
connected with the digital processing of the signals and information.
The previous research experience
The staff has the cooperation experience with the following companies:
Ericsson (Sweden), Nortel Networks (Canada), Samsung Electronics
(Korea), Huawei (China).
During the cooperation with these companies, the physical layer
algorithms were developed for the next standards of digital wireless
communications: Is-95, UMTS, 3GPP (FDD & TDD), 3GPP2 (Is-2000),
The staff includes an algorithm research group (Ph.D. - level specialists)
and a software research group.
The algorithm research group consists of the well-known experts
with 10 years minimal experience in communications sphere.
The software development team has the experience in the software
elaboration in the languages C, C++, Matlab, and also in device
oriented programming languages Assembler, VHDL.
